I use SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire, AutoCAD and other CAD applications to make 3D CAD models, typically in support of product development and manufacturing. The CAD models are used as the basis for CAD drawings, renderings, and for processing technologies such as rapid prototyping, machining and fabrication.
Having thousands of hours of experience using various CAD applications, I can model pretty much anything by now. Very simple projects may require an additional cup of coffee.
The kind I do is mechanical as opposed to architectural. The typical output is an engineering drawing or drawings package that conforms to ANSI or ISO standards and that serves to document a component, product, tool or machine for build or record-keeping purposes.
In addition to documenting my own designs I offer general CAD drafting services such as conversions, revisions or red-lines, detailing of existing models, and checking or review of drawings to standards.

My expertise in this specialty comes from thousands of tool design projects, most of which are fixtures and special machines used to develop and manufacture products. Before switching to design full time I worked for several years as a Tool and Die Maker, and CNC Programmer. My first all-design position was as a Tool Designer. Knowing how to build the tooling helps greatly in designing it. I have experience with: molds for plastic, sheet metal dies, machining fixtures, assembly fixtures, automated equipment, capital equipment, and special machines.

The CAD part of product design that I do includes modeling, drawing and renderings. I also provide: project management; sourcing; liaising with vendors who produce and assemble; and subcontracting of other design and engineering specialties. I can design a single component or take on an entire product design project from concept through to production and delivery. Whichever way I am involved, my broad knowledge and experience along with my handy network of associated professionals translates into a great result for my customer.

I must have done something right!
I make graphics for web sites - layouts, mock-ups, comps, elements, icons, buttons, and backgrounds, whole or pre-sliced - using only the freshest free range pixels. Animations for web sites can be Flash or GIF.
While my focus is graphics, through working on projects some knowledge of coding has imposed itself and so I am unable to deny it is within my ability to do some of that as well.
For clients whose needs hearken back to the ancient printing arts, I offer graphic design of paper objects including business cards, stationary, brochures, post cards, posters, labels, DVD covers, customized Post-It® notes, and so on.
Sometimes people desperately need things like illustrations, diagrams and technical animations, so I do these, too.
